About Me
As a co-owner of RxFitness and a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner, my passion is helping people heal by looking at the whole picture. I take the time to really listen to my clients’ concerns because I believe everything in the body is connected—what happens in one area often affects another. My own health journey has shaped how I work with others. After struggling with IBS and later peri-menopausal symptoms, I turned to functional medicine principles and hormone replacement therapy to get my health back on track. Having lived it myself, I know these approaches work, and that gives me both empathy and confidence when guiding others.
These experiences have made me especially focused on helping those in midlife manage hormone imbalances and create sustainable change. One of my proudest moments was helping a client lose 100 pounds in a year—transforming her life from barely being able to walk down the street to walking miles a day and thriving at the gym. Outside of coaching, I love hiking, exploring artisan markets, making jewelry, and spending time with friends and family. I’m also drawn to gymnastics-style workouts like pull-ups and muscle-ups, and I bring that same energy and joy to the RxFitness community. For me, this gym is more than a place to train—it’s a place to connect, grow, and share life with friends who have become like family.
My Coaching Style & Philosophy
I like to really listen to patients’ concerns and take into account the whole person. All our systems are connected so things happening in one part of the body affect another part.
My Journey & Overcoming Challenges
Special Focus Areas
I think because of the place I’m at in my own life and my expertise in hormone replacement I am best suited to help those in midlife struggling with hormone imbalance.
Member Impact
I helped a patient lose 100 pounds in a year. She had struggled with obesity for most of her adult life, not only has she lost so much weight but she has gotten her life back. When we started she couldn’t walk to the end of her street. Now she walks miles a day and goes to the gym regularly.
